We are Venture Crew 820 located in Melbourne, Florida. Venturing is a part of Boy Scouts of America for young men and young women ages 14 through 20. This crew has an emphasis on SCUBA diving. We are part of the Manatee District which is part of the Central Florida Council

2nd & 4th Tuesdays of each month (no longer 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of each month)

Feb 18: Ginnie Springs: The tannic acid flow from one area into another was seen as a boiling red from underneath. One description was that it resembled the swirling red sky sometimes seen on Sci Fi programs trying to make a different look for an alien planet.
Jan 21: participated in beach clean-up organized by Sea Dragons Dive Shop in Merritt Island. We met at the boardwalk in Indialantic but found that the beach had already been cleaned in preparation for the Art Festival. So, we headed up to the Eau Gallie Causeway beach access and found lots of trash. One group went north and the other went south. (pictures)
