We are Venture Crew 820, a division of Boy Scouts of America for young men and young women ages 14 to 20.
We are located in Melbourne, Florida.

We meet at Redeemer Lutheran Church on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm for a one hour meeting to plan our trips and fund raisers.
This particular Crew was established in 1993 by PADI Instructor Dave Speer. Bob Woodberry, PADI Dive Master, and Emily Woodberry, PADI Instructor, joined the ranks as assistant advisors in 1997. Ann Speer, who is also a PADI Instructor, joined the group as an assistant advisor after she and Dave were married in 1998.
Ann Speer is our current Advisor. Bob is our Safety Officer. Many others help out.
The main objective of this group is to give youths the opportunity to SCUBA dive in a well managed, safe environment. We dive at least once a month. In the winter, we dive the Florida Springs. In the summer, we do beach dives and West Palm drift dives. We plan at least 2 camping trips a year.
The youth Crew Members conduct fund raisers to help reduce the cost of their activities.
